Return of The Ring

About a week and a half ago I was helping Bob with an addition on his barn so we were working outside in the cold but no snow yet. Well after that we went out to eat at Rupes with Bob and Kat, then Shana and I went to Walmart then came home. Wake up Sunday morning and start making my hot chocolate yeah that's right I said hot chocolate and after that my mind starts working and notices I don't have my wedding ring. I immediately started to panic and had a feeling that I would never see it again. We looked under the bed, in the bed sheets, in the pillow cases, in the bathroom, I checked my shirt and pant pockets from the previous 2 days. I had no idea when I lost it. Bob and Kat checked outside where we were working and nothing. The only thing I could think of is to rent a metal detector. The whole time my mom is saying give it a week or so and it will pop up. Well I couldn't wait, I rented the metal detector and went to Bobs and it beeped everywhere. Brought it home and it beeped everywhere again, I guess we are living on a gold mine. I called pawn shops to see if anyone found it and wanted some extra money. Nothing. Everyone at church on Sunday had asked if we found it yet because they were praying for us to find it. Even Shana was losing hope and saying I don't think we are going to see it again. A few more days pass making it a week and a half and Shana was doing laundry and I heard her say " this is the best day ever" and behold the ring has returned. Don't know exactly what happened or when I lost it and I don't really care I'm just glad to have it back. Evidently a few prayers are answered.

I'm glad you found your ring! It's so neat to know that God cares about even the little things in life that concern us.

There is power in prayer. I am so glad you found it! I lost mine once and was sick... so I know how awful it feels.

When do you guys want to come visit? We're ready for ya!

RE: My blog
I hadn't thought about the pawn shop thing, thanks for the idea.

Well played mate. You should re-watch the Lord of the Rings Trilogy to remind you of how important those little bands can be. What if you needed to travel to Mordore and you couldn't find it???

That was a lame joke, but I'm happy you have your wedding ring back:)
