Here is mom showing off her new vest. After we opened gifts we all played mafia which even the kids loved and were really good at. We had a nice home cooked meal that night too.

Your mom almost looks like she is prepared for life out west. It's probably all the "coat" she would need most days here. It sounds from what your mom said that your weather systems may be like ours, you are close enough to the mountains that a lot of stuff blows right over the top of you. Weather was the freakiest thing to get used to here. The clouds are SO LOW you feel like you could touch them. But the weirdest part was the winds...which way are they blowing... it seems they are coming from every direction. If they did that in Illinois you would TAKE COVER!!
