STOPTHEABORTION.ORG

I had got an email from my mom to stoptheabortion.org to sign the petition and help a good cause. So Shana and I signed it. I got an email from the Director saying they had 27,000 votes in the first month which is good but their goal is 100 million to take to the White House. It would take 123 years to get 100 million at 27,000 a month. So I called the director in Atlanta and he said they didn't have anyone to be state director for Idaho and asked me if I would do that. I said I would. So if everyone that reads this would sign the petition and tell 5 people it would get the snowball effect going. Now I have to admit I was for abortion in the cases on rape or incest but I talked to the preacher ( which is also a counselor in town) about it and he said that the women that have had abortion have the weight of not only being raped but taking a human life. He said that they feel better when they can give the baby up for adoption or in some cases they want to keep the baby after about 3 months in the womb. So we will appreciate all the help we can get, tell your friends, your neighbors, people at church, and send a strong message to Obama and the world or we could just give up never do anything and let the country and the world go in a downward spiral.

Return of The Ring

About a week and a half ago I was helping Bob with an addition on his barn so we were working outside in the cold but no snow yet. Well after that we went out to eat at Rupes with Bob and Kat, then Shana and I went to Walmart then came home. Wake up Sunday morning and start making my hot chocolate yeah that's right I said hot chocolate and after that my mind starts working and notices I don't have my wedding ring. I immediately started to panic and had a feeling that I would never see it again. We looked under the bed, in the bed sheets, in the pillow cases, in the bathroom, I checked my shirt and pant pockets from the previous 2 days. I had no idea when I lost it. Bob and Kat checked outside where we were working and nothing. The only thing I could think of is to rent a metal detector. The whole time my mom is saying give it a week or so and it will pop up. Well I couldn't wait, I rented the metal detector and went to Bobs and it beeped everywhere. Brought it home and it beeped everywhere again, I guess we are living on a gold mine. I called pawn shops to see if anyone found it and wanted some extra money. Nothing. Everyone at church on Sunday had asked if we found it yet because they were praying for us to find it. Even Shana was losing hope and saying I don't think we are going to see it again. A few more days pass making it a week and a half and Shana was doing laundry and I heard her say " this is the best day ever" and behold the ring has returned. Don't know exactly what happened or when I lost it and I don't really care I'm just glad to have it back. Evidently a few prayers are answered.

Deer drive by Wolverine

Shana and I have found a popular spot to go see hundreds and I do mean hundreds of mule deer. For the most part they are out in the fields over a hundred yards away but there is a spot down the road where they like to cross and run up and down the mountain and you can get alot closer. We also got permission from the land owners of the field to do some shed "antler" hunting. We are really excited about that.

New Years Eve Party

Here is Ben " The Magnifico". Ben really cleanes up on the air hockey. I think he could have beat me standing on one foot with both eyes closed. It was still fun though.

BALLS OF FURY

Cardboard T

Here is Corene, Paul, Adam, and Ben trying to figure out a game we brought. It is 4 pieces of cardboard cut out with some 45 degree angles and you have to make a T out of it with no sharp points sticking out. They were laying there for about 10 or 15 minutes brainstorming before Ben "The Magnifico" figured it out . He is the first one I have seen to do it that quick.

We were happy to see Cassie, Maddy, and little Bella. Shana was happy to get to hold her and have her fall asleep in her lap. She's a good baby.

Uncle Blaine, Aunt Claudia, and Ben had us over for a New Years Eve party. Aunt Claudia made some pizza and we played alot of games. We played apples to apples, clue, ping-pong, and air hockey. We stayed there till about 1:00 a.m. It was really alot of fun.

What a cute couple.

The Bald and the Beautiful

I saw these 2 eagles on New Years Eve day. Don't pay any attention to the dates on the pictures. I was headed to town to meet Shana for lunch and they were hanging out in a tree about 50 yards from the highway and about 1 mile before I got to town. They were facing away from me on the way into town but a couple of hours later I was on my way home and they were facing the road so I was able to get some better pictures.

Christmas in IL

Shana and her new best friends. Alyssa and Kayla would follow Shana everywhere she went and would always have to sit by her on the couch or in her lap. I know she got tired at times but she was a good sport. She missed them really bad after we left. P.S. so did I. We had a really good time.

SLEEPY HOLLOW

Here is mom showing off her new vest. After we opened gifts we all played mafia which even the kids loved and were really good at. We had a nice home cooked meal that night too.

Happy New Year HeHeHe

This is my dad "Dave" who bagged this 12 point Whitetail buck. He got this buck just about 150 yards from the house (not from the house) the gun is a shotgun not a rifle. He has another buck he got mounted about 20 years ago but this is his biggest and he's been hunting for about 40 years or more.
