I went for a drive today (saturday) thinking I would just see some mule deer and when I topped a hill, out in the open stood these big boys. There was also a herd farther off that had the females and some spikes but these guys were all by themselves. These are the biggest ones I've seen except for the winter herd in Jackson Hole that you can take a sliegh ride through. The mule deer are just hanging out in some farmers hay staying warm and eating. What else is there to do when your a deer?

Great pictures of the deer. Hey, do you all have antelope there? We see some from time to time, but as the city is moving further and further out you don't see them as much. We see deer occasionally, there are some that hang out by the main site of the church which is close to a wooded area and occasionally you will see one it town.
Glad they were still there by the time you got back with the camera. It's great to see such beautiful creatures.
