This pigeon showed up in our driveway Monday afternoon while we were doing yard work. Shana saw it standing in the driveway and wondered if it was injured. We walked right up to it and it didnt seem hurt or even afraid of us. It had a tag around its leg but no message for us. Bob figured he must have got lost. We kept an eye on him to make sure the cats didnt get to him. Then all of a sudden he just took off. Shana was a little sad that he had left.

We stopped to eat our lunch right past the lower lake which is where most people turn around and go back or camp but we decided to go on to the upper lake. This is Pastor Chep, his wife Amy, Shana, and Becky. This was the best lunch ever because we were sooo hungry.

Here is the girls celebrating making it up the switchbacks to finally reach the upper lake. It is not easy at all. The trails are only about a foot wide and very steep drop offs. It is almost 7 miles to get to the upper lake so all in all we walked over 13 miles. It was torture on the way back. We started the hike at about 11 a.m. and got back to the van at 9 p.m.

Bowling at Toughman Lanes
This is my old boss from Black Diamond Paving Doran and his wife Shira. We went out to Texas Roadhouse last night. Then after that we decided to go do some bowling. We ended up going to the side where they use the blacklights (I can't think of what its called). They are alot of fun to go out with. Shira won the prize for the best story of the night. You know what I'm talkin about if you see this Shira. It was cute when we walked up to their house their little boy was guarding the door not wanting us to take his parents away.

Bowling and going to the driving range with Adam
Two weeks ago we took Shanas cousin Adam out bowling which was really fun. Then he decided to take us to the driving range in Blackfoot. It took a little convincing to get Shana to go but once she tried it she liked it. She just told me not enough to go back though.

This is a picture of the Salmon river outside of Salmon ID. I have to go up there every 2 weeks for work. There sure is alot to see up there. It is about 2 and a half hours northwest of here and close to the Montana border.
