Feb 15th 2008 Our sunday drive

Not only did we go for a drive but we went for a long walk. Its actually not as cold as it looks. We walked down this canyon to the river and saw alot of different things. We should have been packin a pistol because when we were at the bottom we saw some holes in the side like where a mountain lion or coyote would be and underneath one of them we saw a dead deer. But it was nice to get out and get some fresh mountain air.

Snowday!

We had made these snowmen around mid January. I think they will last quite a while. We used baby carrots for the eyes, nose, and mouth. We hope to go sledding sometime before the snow is gone.

Utah Jazz vs Detroit Pistons

We got to go down on the court after the game because an usher asked if we would like our picture taken and we said yeah sure, we didn't know we were going to go to halfcourt. He was nice he said when we come back to come see him. It was really unexpected. Some friends we went out with the night before knew someone who was wanting to get rid of some tickets, so we jumped on it. Thanks Brandon and Dani.

"Change" we need

I'm sure everyone that reads this has already heard about this stimulus package of 800 billion dollars over 50 times. Its kind of funny how many people believe in this change and how Obama is going to redo Washington. Well I looked up some of this bill to find out where our money is going. Here is just a little bit of where its going. 25 million for ATV trials, 400 million to prevent STD's, 150 million for honeybee insurance, 650 million for digital coupons, 400 million for global warming research, 246 million tax break for Hollywood producers to buy motion picture film, and 600 million for hybrid vehicles for federal employees. That is suppose to "stimulate" the economy? It looks like its politics as usual and it won't stop until people start blowing the whistle on the people that are asking for this stuff. When was the last time we had a honest politician? Will we have have one that stands up for what is right?
